We are situated close to Pirongia village and the Pirongia Golf Course. The local store sells fresh food and alcohol. There is also a Pub and many cafes and a museum. Pirongia Forest Park is 10 minute drive from our home. The Pirongia Village district is home to many art and crafts people as well as an area steeped in history. For the more active person, go for a tramp on one of the numerous tracks on Mt Pirongia a 17,000 hectare native reserve, take a stroll round Lake Ngaroto or play a game of golf on the picturesque 18 hole Pirongia Golf Course only 2mins away.
