Our room was nicely appointed, fantastic view of the countryside, hosts were very accommodating and the walk through the vast gardens was enlightening, lots of amazing trees from all over the world, and the flower gardens were impressive. Both dinner and breakfast meals were enjoyable with the hosts, would recommend this bnb for a lovely quite break away from all the hustle and bustle, not sure about tramping the mountain though.

Wonderful Old Fashioned Hospitality

Thank you Dianne and Bob for a memorable stay in your beautiful home, overlooked by "The Beast" (Mt Pirongia)! Well rested and fed we were able to tame the mountain over the following two days. Highly Recommended.

Absolute Satisfaction

Our group of 5 stayed overnight before 4 of us tramped Mt Pirongia. Dianne & Bob immediately invited us to join them in the lounge for a glass of wine and we shared a pleasant evening. Rooms were well-appointed and comfortable with great outlooks, and breakfast the next morning was generous and delicious - nothing too much trouble. Just a single bathroom and toilet but we understand the B&B isn't offered to groups of "strangers" to each other so not a problem. Hosts are friendly and keen to please, and the remaining member of our group experienced great friendship and hospitality the next day before collecting us a day later. Lovely 2 acre property.
